If a certain leaked draft is to be believed, Ubisoft is preparing to unveil new games at its upcoming fall digital day event.

The image above clearly shows us that the publisher is going to unveil eight brand-new titles:

  • Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD
  • Assassin’s Creed Pirates
  • Autodance II
  • Child of Light
  • Endwar Online
  • Rabbids: Big Bang
  • Rayman: Fiesta Run
  • Valiant Hearts: The Great War

There are also six additional games, all which have already been revealed:

  • Might & Magic: Duel of Champions
  • Panzer General Online
  • Poptropica: Forgotten Islands
  • The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot
  • Trials Frontier
  • Watch Dogs

All these titles look pretty legitimate, though keep in mind that no official confirmation has been made. We’ll be sure to update you as soon as we know more.

Valiant-Comics-LogoDC Comics has the New 52, Marvel has Marvel NOW!, and Valiant Comics has “Must Read Valiant”. This is the best time for any publisher to take the opportunity in rise of new comic readers to make their titles and characters more approachable. It’s good for business and it’s good for fans of the character who might not have had an idea of how to get into the story without feeling lost. Gives you a fresh new take on characters, opens them up for new directions, and gives new creative teams the opportunity to have freedom to explore the characters in ways they see more fitting.

That is what Valiant is doing here, starting with Shadowman #13.  The “Must Read Valiant” initiative is a new series of self-contained stories and easy jumping-on points across the Valiant publishing line from some of the brightest talents in comics today.

As Valiant Publisher…

Zombies have feelings too

Posted: September 8, 2013 in Uncategorized

You must have had your head stuck in a tombstone not to have noticed the influx of zombie games recently. That’s all well and good for the developers – but does anyone ever stop to consider how the undead actually feel about this?

Featured - Zombies have feelings too

Every day, zombies face torture and hardship. Merciless developers send them into combat in video games (some of which are pretty dodgy) and thousands die at the hands of ruthless gamers all over the world. But does anyone stand by them and speak up for their rights? No: because they’re considered to be only shuffling, moaning, rotting corpses of human flesh, and therefore appropriate cannon-fodder.

Well we’re going to make a stand against the violence (and storylines we’ve all seen countless times before). Together, we can convince unoriginal developers to come up with new and exciting concepts, and provide a future free from cruelty (and really bad…

1001 Previews: Star Admiral

Posted: September 1, 2013 in Uncategorized

Nice! Really takes it to another level in speed. Thanks for the share…

Star Admiral is a multiplayer trading-card game for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. It sees players assemble a vast fleet of stylish but also threatening 3D spaceships, and lead them into fast-paced action-packed strategic space battles against online opponents.

Title - Star Admiral

The team at Hardscore Games are a passionate group of developers who believe that the mobile game industry has gotten stale over the past few years. They believe it’s time for a change, and this is hard to argue seeing as the whole scene is dominated by flying birds, waiting for crops to grow or crushing candy for hours on end. It’s a relief to see a title directed at dedicated hardcore gamers.

Some of the team have never played a trading-card game before so we’re very interested in seeing how Star Admiral works and if it will make us converts to the genre. Guy Atkinson, the Communications Guy…
